Who We Are
True Giving Ministries is a Christ-centered outreach ministry founded from a calling to serve individuals who are hurting, hungry, homeless, struggling, or experiencing difficult seasons of life.
The ministry was created from a belief that Christian ministry extends beyond the walls of the church. We believe faith should be demonstrated through both our words and our actions.
Our purpose is to show the love of Jesus Christ by helping meet practical needs while also providing encouragement, prayer, compassion, and spiritual guidance.
Our Biblical Foundation
"For I was hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me... Our Core Values
Give
We give freely and compassionately from what God has entrusted to us.
Serve
We believe Christian leadership begins with becoming a servant. We look for opportunities to meet the needs directly in front of us.
Love
We serve people with dignity, compassion, and the love of Jesus Christ without expecting anything in return.
Pray
We believe prayer should accompany the work of our hands. We pray for those we serve, our communities, our volunteers, and the direction of the ministry.
Hope
We want every person we encounter to understand that their present circumstances are not necessarily the end of their story.
What Ministry Means to Us
Sometimes ministry is a meal.
Sometimes ministry is clean clothes.
Sometimes ministry is a bottle of water.
Sometimes ministry is listening.
Sometimes ministry is encouragement.
Sometimes ministry is prayer.
And sometimes ministry is simply reminding someone:
"You are seen. You matter. God has not forgotten you."
How We Serve
As the ministry develops, True Giving Ministries plans to provide and coordinate a range of services to meet practical needs and share the love of Christ.
The ministry will grow according to available resources, volunteers, partnerships, and the direction God provides.
